Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What are the beginning and end times for your classes?
A: ALL of our classes begin promptly at 0800 hours and end no later than 1700 hours each day of class.

Q: Are your classes POST certified?
A: Nearly all of our classes are POST Plan IV certified. The certification number will appear on the "Training Details" page. Otherwise, if a course is not POST certified, "NONE" will appear.

Q: How do I know whether there are still openings in one of your classes?
A: If the "Register" link next to the class date and location is still active, then the class is open and we are still accepting new registrations. Once a class is full, the "Register" link will become inactive and read "Class Full."

Q: I'm travelling in from out of town. Can you make a recommendation for a hotel near the training facility?
A: Third Degree Communications, Inc. does not recommend any specific hotels for overnight accommodations. Students in need of such accommodations are encouraged to make their own arrangements.

Q: I lost/did not receive a certificate showing I completed one of your classes. How might I get a replacement?
A: Contact our Office Manager, Joanne Segovia and she will send you a replacement.

Q: Where can I purchase your Interview & Interrogation Training Manual?
A: You may purchase this book on Amazon by clicking here.

Q: Can I make a payment for a class I've already registered for?
A: Yes, if you've already registered for one of our classes online, by phone, or fax, you can make payment separately by calling us at: 408.766.1909.

Q: Will you accept payment by check or credit card on the first day of class?
A: Our policy is to require payment 3 weeks in advance of the class for planning purposes. However, we will make exceptions if you make arrangements with us in advance. Please contact us.

Q: I have a finance question (W9 Form, Receipt for Class Payment, Confirm Class Payment). To whom should I speak?
A: Contact our Office Manager, Joanne Segovia.

Q: I've tried calling your phone number, but no one answers. What are your office hours?
A: TDC is a company owned and operated by full time law enforcement professionals, thus, we are not always readily available to answer the phone at predictable times. PLEASE leave us a message and we'll be sure to call you back at our earliest convenience. Email is always a great way to communicate with us and we respond to every email promptly.
