  • Frequently Asked Questions

What are the beginning and end times for your classes?

ALL of our classes begin promptly at 0800 hours and end no later than 1700 hours each day of class.

Are your classes POST certified?

Nearly all of our classes are certified by POST in CA and NV. The certification number will appear on the “View Details” page. Otherwise, if a course is not POST certified, “NONE” will appear.

How do I know whether there are still openings in one of your classes?

If the “Register” link next to the class date and location is still active, then the class is open and we are still accepting new registrations. Once a class is full, the “Register” link will display a message which reads, “One or more of the classes you have selected are full. If you complete this order you will be added to a waiting list.”

I’m travelling in from out of town. Can you make a recommendation for a hotel near the training facility?

Third Degree Communications, Inc. does not recommend any specific hotels for overnight accommodations. Students in need of such accommodations are encouraged to make their own arrangements.

I lost/did not receive a certificate showing I completed one of your classes. How might I get a replacement?

Contact our Office by phone or using the contact form on our website and will send you a replacement.

Can I make a payment for a class I’ve already registered for?

Yes, if you’ve already registered for one of our classes online, you can make payment separately here.

Will you accept payment by check or credit card on the first day of class?

Our policy is to require payment 3 weeks in advance of the class for planning purposes. However, we will make exceptions if you make arrangements with us in advance. Please contact us.

I have a finance question (W9 Form, Receipt for Class Payment, Confirm Class Payment). To whom should I speak?

Contact our Office.

I’ve tried calling your phone number, but no one answers. What are your office hours?

TDC is a company owned and operated by full time law enforcement professionals, thus, we are not always readily available to answer the phone at predictable times. PLEASE leave us a message and we’ll be sure to call you back at our earliest convenience. Email is always a great way to communicate with us and we respond to every email promptly.
