When a class is full, you will be offered the option to join the waitlist. You can join as a paid or unpaid registrant — paid registrants are moved into the class first when a seat opens. If you paid and do not get in, you can transfer to another class or receive a full refund. View course schedule
All Third Degree Training classes begin promptly at 0800 (8:00 a.m.) and end no later than 1700 (5:00 p.m.) on each day of class. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early on the first day for parking and check-in.
POST credit hours vary by course and are listed on each course’s “View Details” page.
Nearly all Third Degree Training courses are POST certified in California and Nevada. The POST certification number is listed on each course’s “View Details” page. If a course is not POST certified, the certification field will read “None.”
Third Degree Training offers an agency discount when hosting that includes complimentary seats in the course. On a case-by-case basis we also offer discounts for large-volume registrations. We regularly add regional classes based on demand. Submit a Regional Training Request and we’ll work to schedule a class near you. Regional Training Request form
Third Degree Training does not recommend or endorse specific hotels or accommodations. Students are encouraged to make their own arrangements near the training facility listed on their course details page.
Please do not make non-refundable travel arrangements. Third Degree Training is not responsible for reimbursement of any travel expenses in the event a class is cancelled or rescheduled.
Meals are not provided. When available, coffee, water, and light snacks may be offered by Third Degree Training or the host facility. Students are responsible for their own meals.
Registration fees are listed on each course page. Payment is due on or before the first day of class. A $50 late fee will be applied for every 30 days an invoice remains past due from the first day of the course.
Yes. If you’ve already registered online, you can pay at any time through your student portal or by using the secure payment link in your registration confirmation email.

To receive a full refund, written cancellation must be submitted no later than 30 days before the class start date.
Cancellations made within the 30-day window are not eligible for a refund; however, a credit valid for one year may be applied toward any course we offer.

Third Degree Training reserves the right to cancel any class due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. In the event of a cancellation, registered agencies will receive a full credit valid for one year. If a full refund is needed, please email us at info@tdcorg.com within 30 days of the cancellation notice.
Yes. Students may transfer to another scheduled course at any time. A credit will be held for one year and may be applied to any course offered by Third Degree Training.
Yes. Agencies may substitute one registered student for another at any time prior to the start of class at no additional charge. Please notify us in writing as early as possible so we can update our records. Contact our office to arrange substitution
If you attended a course prior to July 1, 2026, contact us at info@tdcorg.com and we will email you a replacement.
If you attended a class on or after July 1, 2026, you can download your certificate anytime from your student portal as soon as it is issued after class, or reorder a replacement directly online.
